They are extremely heavy, but they put such big engines in them that they can fly down the highway like a sports car, but they don't handle like a sports car. And then, the same assholes who buy these 6L V8 trucks and drive 200 km/h tow their stupid RV trailers and drive at 80 km/h on 5he same fucking highway. In Japan, this wouldn't be as big of a problem because they tax their vehicles according to classes based on engine displacent (this is why Japanese motor companies have focused on efficient engine designs rather than hurr fire just make it bigger like GM). There's no reason everyone who wants a 4x4 couldn't just drive a 22re and leave speeding to the sports cars. Plus, imagine how awesome the modern version of that engine would be.
