I got a Mora Triflex(on sale) 2 weeks ago. The blades already showing some discolouration/rust from finger print oil(even though I wiped it off every time).
The Carbon Companion I got is completely fine and I use it more.
How do I go about getting it off? Will metal polish work or should I use 5000 grit sand paper or something? I read the slurry from sharpening might work.
But it's like a stain rather than rust, as it's slightly below the surface.
From what I gather the Triflex are different kinds of steel bonded together(hence Tri). But if I had known it stained so easily...
