I carry a bunch of rechargable 18650 li-ion cells with me all the time, I have a little cradle that will accept them and output USB power, On a longer trip I might consider bringing a folding solar panel or a pot-charger, let the fire die down before going to sleep, stick a fresh pot of water on the fire and let it charge till it cant charge no more through the night.
