>>1241354This is the end result, with sausage chunks and mixed vegetables. It's not authentic houtou I supppose, because I only had mediocre instant miso pouches so I cooked it in beef stock with yellow thai curry paste and a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil instead, but it was yummy so I don't care. The noodles and the flour that sticks to them are starchy enough to thicken the sauce nicely.
Obviously this is an /in/ version but I'm drying the extra uncooked noodles in little coils for easy packing. I reckon if I cook 'em up with some soup stock powder (or my mediocre instant miso), some root vegetables, summmer sausage, and chili, they should make a nice one-pot camp meal.
