>>279086If you're worried about meeting people online, you could always meet them in a public place with some of your friends, and try to talk and meet them before going into spooky old buildings. you could probably meet people at your local dicks/ camping store, or try to convince a friend it will be fun. i wouldn't carry a gun, if you get caught tresspasing it will look worse. carry a strong knife, it could be useful as a small tool, or for self defense. in urban areas, be aware of your surroundings, look for signs of homeless/addicts using the place for a base. look for cans, recent firepits, things like that. and always carry good, strong rope. rope is always good to have.
