There was this guy, Israel Keyes. He purposely didn't have a "type" because it'd make him harder to catch, but he mentioned to the FBI that he liked hunting for victims at trailheads and campgrounds because it was easier. He said that he murdered a couple in a park in Washington and that it wasn't considered a murder at the time but didn't identify them.
There's also Robert Hansen who would kidnap prostitutes and release them in the Alaskan wilderness (not sure if it was parks) and would hunt them down.
