well, /out/, i'm probably one of many to keep asking the question, but here goes. are these chicken of the woods? attached pic is where they grew on a stump (broadleaf not conifer, the fallen tree was nearby so i could see), close up of top, bottom and torn flesh.
there were also some beads of what looked and flowed like water to me, but this guy says there's a similar mushroom and the beads are resin
