Hello guys, newfag here. How should I go out and buy a camping knife? I have a foldable one but I've heard ppl saying that it's better to have a fixed blade knife.
Goal: I want to have something that's suitable for survival usage and general camping. Don't have a lot of money but I'm willing to invest in one good knife if it last me a long time.
I saw a couple on Amazon around $50-$80. There's also a surplus supply store in my city and I recall seeing them sell camping gears. There are also other camping stores (leaf so Canadian Tire etc.) too. Which one should I buy a knife from? Thanks in advance
