But fishing, gardening, small-game hunting, and cleaning animals come with time.
You clean a fish by first decapitating it, then descaling it (just scrape your knife along the fishes scales the opposite way in which the scales run), then de-gut it. I haven't done it in a while so I may have one or two details wrong. But, my father drilled it into my head when I was young.
