>>1331455Agreed. Make sure to do your research, and know that few kayaks are designed to do most all things, cheap or high cost, same with canoes. If you're thinking of fishing from one, get one that's designed for it, even some you can stand in nowadays, and some really tricks them out too. ALWAYS wear a PFD, and practice being able to re-enter one before you get any distance from shore. One more thing, if you plan to ever go out in cold weather and cold water, its HIGHLY recommended that you look into a dry suit, which can be extremely expensive, or at the very least, a thick full body wetsuit. Cold water kills very quickly. And research and do even more research.
