>>826851I just think CRKT has some of the coolest designs in that price range, especially for fixed blades. Kershaw has a lot of cool folders in that range but I don't see many fixed blades from them. Gerber doesn't have much that caught my eye and the Bear stuff is what you see most often. And then there is SOG with their tacticool stuff.
There are a few other smaller brands in the $25-$50 range but most of it is online and I prefer to see stuff like that IRL before I buy it.
