I work in mining in the NWT, they are very common parkas up here and for good reason. I also see a ton of their "less-warm" fashion-centred jackets down in Montreal and Toronto (and knockoffs), those people are just paying for the fashion label, but hey they also pay $200 for jeans so at least they're getting a good jacket for their schekles...
