There were lots of signs that she'd not be able to do it at all. It has also started sprinkling when we showed up. The idea of being stuck in a flooded cave taking care of someone with a head injury didn't seem like a good vacation. Some people just can't stand outside the moment long enough to spot that stuff before doing something dangerous or a ignorantly oblivious.
It turned out that she was 200% ignorant of anything outdoorsy and was a city/suburb gal. She couldn't even walk through tall weeds or scrub without getting loaded with ticks & stickers or ripping clothing on briars & thorns.
