The volume of the snow doesn't matter because the weight is the same
It takes 80% of the energy to melt 32F ice than to bring it up from 32F to 212F.
So if your snow is below 32F, it will take around double the amount of time to melt and boil snow than to boil freezing-temperature water alone
which is exactly what happens in my experience, i can boil liquid water in 4-5 minutes, and melt and boil snow in 10-12 minutes
