>>165439People will crap on the tang because it's a stick tang, but that's not the problem. Stick tangs have been in use since knives were first made from metal and aren't an issue. The problem is that the blade is too thick and the bevel angle too wide for efficient cutting. If you want something with the same look, go for a Camillus or Ontario Pilot Survival Knife. It's a tad shorter, but the bevel angle is better and it's a complete brute. It's been my go-to innawoods knife for around 20 years. Second from the top in pic related. Top knife is an Ahti leuku. If you want quality and don't care if it looks military, get one of those.
