Just reporting back - I had time to do a second test in some wind using a fan. Turned off the lights in part of the video so you can see the flames blowing out the side. Pic related. This is with the BRS 3000 recessed inside the Macpac 1L heat exchange pot (rebranded olicamp XTS).
No wind - 13c water temp 400mL - 1m 43s boil time
Wind - 13c water temp, 10c ambient, 400mL - 2m 09s
This is with no windscreen. Ill do a field test when I can probably monday or tuesday (Aus) but I dont know if it will be windy enough to get good data. But this looks very promising.
