Last nights frog bite was insane. fished the thick pads the whole time. I had a 5-6 around the size of pic related which is really good for the pond where the majority are dinks. This one here jumped enitirly out of the water and destroyed the frog in open water right on the edge of the pads. I didn't even really need to work the frog like usual. I casted up past the open water into the pads and then reeled until the frog is a few inches from the open water. After that i go really slow, twitching the line very lightly to make the frog twist and throw some water around but not get lurched forward towards me. Leaving it stationary and just bouncing it a little to give it some life did the trick the whole time
