>>345411Oh god, went for a hike and camp this weekend in the Trough of Bowland (lots of moorland), never seen so many midges. It was terrible. Made it so we couldn't concentrate on even simple tasks like cooking tea or putting up the tent because of the itching. Ended up wrapping towels around our faces and covering up every bit of exposed skin possible.
Heard this was good for keeping them at bay, gonna try it next weekend:
