Today I took a thick plastic cutting board and cut out a plate for my grain mill to use as a seed dehuller-dehusker. It works extremely well and has super smooth action. I was using a plastic lid, but those tear up easily, were rough to turn the crank with, and were inconsistent. This is like using a prefabricated machine.
This are common plantain seeds (Plantago major). I'll be using them to replant my salad green/juicing beds.
