But even here there are real city slickers, who've never been out in the bush or the tops, nz has plenty of outside for those who want it, but it is getting pretty urban.
Look at auckland for example. All the whites,indians, chinese, plastic maoris and islanders there seem to have no interest in the bush whatsoever. Its only when you get all the way up north or central that you get rugged pig hunters and deer stalkers.
Im a white guy but i constantly get called a rugged hori cunt by aucklanders, brown white or whatever fucking colour.
Unsure of the south island though. Havent been down there yet.
