>>2312785I remember reading correctly that they breed possibly twice a year here in FL, once in spring and once in fall, and based on what I have seen personally, they have a shit ton of fry and do a pretty good job defending them. Snakeheads and carp take over these canals quite quick.
Maybe they need to introduce a predator, like how they brought in peacock bass to go after the cichlids.
