>Probably about 5 years ago>With father,brother,and uncle>Out fishing some kelp forests>Fishing with fly lined live anchovy's>Birds fucking everywhere>Keep going for our bait>Gets to the point where we can barely cast with our bait unmolested>Constantly rebaiting>Brother hooks seagull through tongue>Yanks it in, unhooks it fly's away>I Cast>Fucking big ass pelican goes for it>gets tangled in my line >Haul the big fucker in and line is tangled around a bunch of his feathers on one wing>When he is alongside boat pull his wing up and cut all his tangled feathers off with knife>Retie and cast again>Fucking cormorant goes for it and is hooked>Mfw>Bring it into the boat and it wont hold fucking still>Whack it over the head with the handle of bait net>Calms down, holding it behind the head i unhook it>Toss bird over the side expecting it to fly away>Just splats down and floats face down in the water, twitching occasionally>we are all quiet as it slowly drifts away >A couple other birds land next to it and stare at it>The birds calm down a bit and we leave shortly afterFuck birds
