We've been having issues with bass & ski boats coming thru and nearly swamping us so we hooked both canoes together to give us some added stability. It worked much better than I expected, we could stand up to fish, walk around, hop from canoe to canoe etc. It handled and tracked really well even when we weren't using the motor. I'm gonna make a more permanent set up using 2X4's with 5/16ths bolts & wing nuts to clamp them in place.
