>>56956>>57667awesome! thanks for responding with all the info. even though this is probably a year or two off, I am getting so GODDAMN excited thinking about the stories I'll one day be able to tell.
>>56956I am planning on camping whenever possible, I was curious about how you picked a spot, if it's literally in the middle of nowhere when a train stops in the wilderness, or if you typically end up in a town and just walk to the closest area to camp. I'd really love to just travel for a year, or at least spring, summer, and fall, without renting a place. Just "live off the land,"
if you're still around and willing to answer a few more questions
-how big is your pack?
I have a 35L camping pack, and I think I could live out of it for at least a month, but I think I would run out of space for carrying food
-is anything in your pack different than what you'd pack for a camping trip?
-what do you do for food?
- -procurement? (dumpster dive, purchase, hunt, forage, food bank?) and how much food do you have with you at any given time?
and one more I guess
-how much money, if any, do you have with you at any given time. just cash, or a do you have a card too?
Thanks again
