That said, the best choices for fire starting are:
1. Propane torch - quit fucking around and just get the fire going.
2. Bic lighter - not the cheep Chinese knock-offs, which ALWAYS fail.
3. Ferro rod - impervious to water, keep as a back-up for the Bic.
4. whatever other method you want to goof around with.
