>>437985I admit it. I had to google proprioception. Still, thicker and stiffer soles reduce proprioception more than softer and thinner soles. Hence, stiffer/thicker soles require more support. Take the enclosed boot, for example. TERRIBLE! They're all right for factory floors, but walking in any sort of terrain in them is hell. I don't get them at all, or why Aussies swear by them.
