You might want to consider better paddles down the road, I had similar with another boat and they're actually pretty big blades and a bit tiring on longer trips. Also the joints might not be super strong, mine were 2 piece not 3 so it didn't matter as much but that's something to watch out for. They were better than a lot of cheap-boat paddles though,
