The woods where the favirite part of the day for me, one you brake out above the tree line around 900-1000m, then it's 100% sun for 4+-5 hours , during the hottest hours of the day, which really impaired me. It actually got me reconsidering my future hikes. From now on, I'll do my summer hiking up North (Ireland, Scotland, Norway, etc..) and I'l go south in spring or autumn. Summer heat in the South is too much for me. I'm half Breton, half Irish, built for wind and rain, but I'm a pussy when it comes to heat
