>>877219Less brakes, less spool tension, heavier lure, lighter line, and you gotta get the casting action down. Just be careful loosening the brakes and tension if you are new to memecasters because you gotta get the casting motion down before you can really huck it with no brakes. They don't like lob casts like you do with spinning reels, it helps to throw it more flat.
And I have been trying to figure out whether or not the placement of the line guide makes a difference while casting. I feel like if I center it before casting, I get maybe an extra 5%-10% distance but it could just be all in my head.
