for bear?
No.
This guy was out hiking in his neighborhood. He always carries his .454 revolver. This day he was walking down a road and heard branches snap behind him. It was a gigantic grizzly about 50yards back and coming out of the tree line. It was charging him.
Quickly he drew his revolver and fired as it closed in.
>MISShe fired again
>MISSthe bear was literally feet from him now he fell backwards as he fired a final shot
>HITThe bear old and emaciated but still weighing nearly 900 pounds rolled by him coming to rest dead some 10 or 15 feet behind where he had fired that last shot.
>That's the best I can remember the story of pic related. It's a true story and probably most of the details are right. You can see in the pic how old and hungry the bear is. I doubt it would have been there and gone after him if it had still been younger and able to hunt better. Still, that thing could have easily killed him and those types of bears are out there.
