Due to the glorious day upon us (opening day for waterfowl season on Saturday) I would like to start a waterfowl thread.
Been reading reports on
ducks.org and birds seem to be plentiful this year. I would highly recommend checking out this migration map for any of those interested. According to reports plenty of birds are North of me but due to a cold front they should be here by Saturday morning. Regardless me and 3 friends will be out there.
Havent had a chance to scout the public land we usually hunt because deer season is open and it's kept me busy. I tried a few weeks ago but the refuge was closed due to the government shutdown.
Any other waterfowlers on /out/ or newbies with questions?
