I have one of these, and it's cool. The trick is that there's a straw inside the canister that always rests on the bottom, so it delivers liquid fuel to burner. Similar to white gas stoves, it passes the fuel line through the flame, thus eliminating the cold weather lethargy of canister systems.
It's clever! I like clever, and it's a super sturdy yet relatively lightweight stove that has a meaningful throttle. I've used it as an extra burner for extravagant car camping meals as well as boiling snow on subfreezing mornings above 10k. I like my stove.
So naturally Coleman has discontinued the cans, replaced with an adapter doodad that holds a regular can upside-down. The result is only half-clever. I am displeased.
