>>2256482I carry a 12 gauge shotgun with a mix of slugs and buck shot, with a bear banger projectile as the first shell in the chamber. I usually fire off the banger shell when going into an area for the first time, especially deep gulches or ravines with loud running water. That way anything up stream knows I am coming and usually fucks off.
