Watch your fingers
The rounded tip is sharpened all the way from where it meets the 1/4" spine all the way around to where it meets the choil. It's a great skinning knife.
At 1/4" thick with a hatchet-like weight and grind, I have chopped through bone with it with ease and batonned it through knotty gnarly seasoned mesquite with no issues.
<---this might give a better look at how far the sharpening goes as well as the general shape of the grind, and if you go check it out at a box store you'll see that it comes hair shaving sharp from the factory and stays that way a looooong time.
