How about a BioLite. I own one, but only because I got it for my birthday from my eBayaholic brother. Used it a couple of times on a bike touring trip, and it works pretty well, but charging an iPhone takes forever. It will, however, burn pretty much anything, even pretty damp wood, thanks to the fan. It's pretty heavy, but you wont bring any fuel (other than some kindling to make life easier if it is wet). Not being a big fan of camp-cooking, I don't know how good it is for making proper dinners, but it works well for frying bacon and boiling water and having a fire is always nice after dark, and you could keep this running for a long time without worrying about saving fuel, even in places where (and when) you could not light a bonfire.
