>>398925>>399010If you can afford to, spend enough to get a metal reel with a metal drag and 4 piece fly rod that comes with a lifetime warranty. If you buy that as a combo from the same retailer/store they usually throw in backing/fly line and install it for you included in the price.

Other brands are good too, just aim for metal reel and lifetime warranty on rod.
