Is tick-borne illness as a big as it seems or is there a decent chunk of scam-artists pushing this for profit? I've been dealing with some unexplained debilitating symptoms with no explanation which led me to a few "lyme literate doctors". I've had pretty much no success with them so far and the only thing I've received that indicates that I'm barking up the right tree is a positive bartonella test from IGeneX which I have my doubts about. At least one of the doctors I've worked with was extremely thorough looking at non-tick related possibilities, but It's pretty hard to trust these people without results.
I'm probably just a sucker but damn am I desperate.
