>>2818829>they lost moisture far too fast (think having to water twice a day in summer) - so if your grow bags are fabric and have no plastic lining you might have similar issues. Fine for the first year, but worth upgradingReminds me of my first planting experience. I had basil in tiny pots and San Marzano tomatoes in 5-gallon bags (I forgot what size I used for them until now), and both were impossible to keep watered. Leaves always folded in, withered, droopy. Summers here are very hot.
I think the basil will do a lot better in a 5-gallon bag and the tomatoes in 10-gallons, with more amendments than I'd used before. I fucked up then, but now I'll apply what I've learned from it.
>>2818830>Sugar Rush Stripey - they first have that wax like appearance and then as they ripen they develop red stripes on them. Probably the best looking chilis I've ever seen and really hot too.I looked them up and man, they look beautiful. I have a bit of time in the next few days to finalize what I'm definitely going to be growing, and those look like a contender, but I'll probably grow habaneros for my pepper plant and keep the Sugar Rush Stripey in mind for the future.
Or heck, I might do both. I'll figure it out in the next few days.
