I used to browse /k/ casually and quickly realized that there were some extreme consoomers and LARP fantasies being played out. I'ts mostly harmless and entertaining. The sad part is that as a fucking cubscout in the 90s we had more sense and practical knowledge than this. I find it impossible to frequent gun shops anymore because of the cringe zombie prepper scene. Mind that I am a early 2000s era survivalist with an actual homestead, a fully working garden tractor, big gun collection and just about all the tools I could ever need.
