technically i did something like that once
we lashed a bunch of canoes togethers with spruce crossbeams and put a tent on it
it was cold as fuck in the bottom of a canoe, my face less then 20cm away from the crossbeam of the aluminium canoe and i couldnt use my normal sleeping pad so i had to use a foam pad, and if you think the ground is cold, try the middle of a lake at night
did it with a bunch of people was pretty fun, amongst the top 5 worst nights of sleep ive ever had /out/ tho
