This happened when I was super young yet somehow it's managed to always stay with me. Ontario Canada
>Swimming in great lake with brother and cousins
>Shitty area of water front, barely any "beach" maybe 1-2 meters
>Young so we don't go all that far from the shore, around like 5-8
>Don't remember how but managed to get some distance away from our parents who were chilling on the beach
>Beach disappears quickly and trees hang over the river, leaves basically draping over the water in areas
>Swim through one only to find a giant black shape floating close to me, somehow not terrified by it's sudden appearance must have thought it was trash or something
>Realize it's a dead giant bird with black feathers, easily bigger than me or my parents
>Parents eventually find me and the dead bird, they seem surprised by it and get us out of the water
>Smells like death and is clearly some giant ass bird with it's wings spread out
>Parents rush us back to the car
>Remember seeing a yellow/orange construction vehicle moving up to the waters edge with some people around it looking like they were going to try and scoop it out as we were about to leave.
I've never experienced any sort of Skin walkers or goatmen in my adult out experiences
>Home alone in family cabin
>Small dog only one with me
>Always paranoid that it'll get taken by some coyote or something so constantly check up on it and don't let it outside on it's own.
>Chilling out waiting for others to get back, wonders if I closed the door
>Walks over to glass screen door, it's closed
>Admiring the view when I notice something moving on the top of our old pine (top got blown off in a storm)
>Giant fuck off bird just chilling there
>Tree is at the end of the property and I know the bird species in the area, wasn't a turkey vulture or something.
>Eventually he just flies off and I lose sight of him.
Anyone else experienced bizarre bird sightings while /out?
