>>2494957>He can't answer that.Not any of these he's/(You)s, I literally live in the Appalachian mountains, and most of my "favorite hikes" can't be named per se because they're through the Jefferson and George Washington National Forests. They aren't even on trails.
I've done six or so week+ AT hikes over the years, and I can't tell you the names of any of the sections, because I don't give a shit. I only remember Buzzard Rock because I fell and punctured my palm on a triangle-shaped piece of obsidian or shale there while hiking in a hard rain, and Chestnut Knob because that's got the old stone house from before the Civil War that was turned into an AT shelter.
Then there's the Virginia Creeper Trail, but it's full of bikes all the time and is a dayhiker trail for sure. It's still nice, though, and good access to portions of Whitetop Laurel Creek, pic related from a couple months ago.
