Can't eat the fish from it, too slow and crowded to boat on, invasive fish too. Used to be home to tons of Shad but they've been pretty much gone for decades now. Home state of DuPont and their plants are on the river so if you so much as step foot in it odds are you'll get cancer. Only fish really left are bullhead catfish, some carp, and snakeheads.
Because the city it's near (Wilmington) has such an astronomically high murder rate per capita, there's also shitloads of guns and probably bodies in it. People magnet fishing regularly pull them out.
