I stopped by gander and got some meme lures. Rods and reels are still 10% off. Almost bought an 8 weight fly setup for salt/bass, but I could get all of it cheaper from Walmart (even with the 25% off for fly stuff). If I do get an 8wt I'm probably gonna look for something in the $200-300 range since I'll only want one.
The girl at the register said they don't have a date when they're officially closing, but it'll be by August for sure. She didn't know if they were gonna drop the rods and stuff any lower either.
