Most of my corn has been harvested and shelled. Here're pics of my flint corn and pop corn. Also, for corn growers out there, see the bent up tin can? I took the top and bottom off the can and bent it up. One end is larger than the other. Just shove the dried corn cob in the right size hole and start twisting. The kernels will pop right off without trouble. Just make sure the cobs are dry or it won't work that well.
I still have a crop of purple Peruvian maize left to grow. It was planted late, laid flat by a wind storm and I can only hope it will make it to ripen. There's actually a chance I won't even recoup my seed corn from it for next year. Oh well, the 15 feet tall stalks that did survive the wind storm are pretty cool.
