here is a quick sketch of what i'd like it to be like. You can see the grande assiette sleeve construction to have great arms mobility but retain a comfy, relatively close fit. I also want to make something like a "waistband" to have it fitted between the ribcage and the hips because i find that this where i feel the coldest, and i don't like having a lot of fabric hanging around here. The collar could be raised (green on the drawing) to keep your neck area warm and away from wind.
I'm also thinking of making a removable pelerine (pink on the drawing) that you could tie on the shoulders. it could add a bit more warmth as well a protection from light rain.
