>>627160I use it as my one tool option. The only down side would be prolonged use will cause your hand to get tired. Also, check the swivel on the sheath. After about 2 years of hard use the little robot there was bent a tad. I used some pliers and bent it back.
I just seen all the cold steel hawks posted, love my viking hand axe. Strips bark with ease, notches out a bow drill easily, and you can really choke up on it for detailer stuff. I just don't recommend cutting trees bigger than a few inches with it.
