>>2775596Continuing from this, I also have an old mid-1900s Herder (Solingen) that I picked up for three bucks in rusted condition and restored. Surprisingly easy to sharpen. The joint still has some rust I couldn't get to which sucks, opening/closing it requires too much force to be safe (have to be very attentive). I hope it goes away with use.
