The people that gut their exhausts to make them intentionally loud are douchenozzles that don't understand noise ≠ power. They're usually the same people that think putting higher octane gasoline in their bike/truck/car magically makes it more powerful.
Loud bikes on a race track, whatever.
Loud bikes in the woods, go kill yourself.
Also, fuck harleys and their loud pipes. If loud pipes save lives, imagine what protective gear and learning how to ride a motorcycle could do.
