>>2687833Nice, I see you have the padded case.
Here's my Trangia.
I lost one of my bowls 1.5 years ago, dunno where... maybe a hut or left while moving. Sucks because my retailer doesn't stock the replacement non stick cookware.
Additional accessories
>Foldacup>Fan grating I use instead of the Trangia Pan Stand>Wooden spoon and fork>Silicone spatula cut to length of frying pan>Bulin clone of Trangia gas insert (only used once for testing)Not pictured:
>2x Trangia plate 20>Trangia 500ml fuel bottle>Lighter (in first aid kit)>so we'll see if carrying 2 burners for example really is useful. I'd recommend getting the Trangia gel burner. It weighs only 18g, fits into all their windshields, and boils water faster than the spirits burner. I checked the SDS of the fuels used for the tests and the cause of this faster boil time is due to the gel fuel being 85% ethanol compared to the spirits burner using standard methanol, which has a lower energy density. For this reason I'm going to start using Bio-ethanol from now on for my alcohol burners.
My cooking goal is do more frying. So I am trying to build a lightweight cook kit around having just a frying pan. I am looking for a good non stick frypan with a lid so I can also use it as a pot. I saw Boundless Voyage makes a nonstick titanium frypan with a lid, but the bottom of the pan is not flat. I saw a guy review the pan and he thought highly of it, but in his other videos he's gone back to using the previous frypans he had. I am also looking at getting the Firemaple frypan, which has great reviews, but it has no lid, but someone gave me the idea of using a silicone cover as a lid. I've been obsessing over trying to make a frypan cook kit that weighs under 400g.
